Trust Is Earned With Receipts
The research peptide space has a trust problem. Screenshots instead of paperwork. “99% pure” with nothing to back it up. Lab reports that look a little too clean. We’d rather show you the receipts and teach you how to check them, including ours.
๐ About COAs
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the lab report for a specific production batch. COAs may be available on request. Send us the product name and we’ll let you know what documentation we have for it.
One rule: a COA only counts if it matches the product you’re holding. A gorgeous report for some other compound tells you nothing.
๐ฌ What a Real COA Should Show
- Lab name and contact details. A real testing lab you can look up, not just a logo.
- Compound name. Exactly what was tested.
- Test date. Recent enough to mean something.
- Purity result, usually by HPLC. High-performance liquid chromatography separates a sample into its parts and shows what share is the target compound.
- Identity confirmation, usually by mass spectrometry (MS). Purity tells you how much of the main peak there is. Mass spec confirms the main peak is actually the right molecule.
- Quantity or content, when tested. How much material is actually in the vial compared to the label.
๐ฉ Red Flags on a COA
- No lab name, address or contact. Or a “lab” you can’t find anywhere.
- Purity only, with no identity test. 99% pure what, exactly?
- Round, perfect numbers on every product, every batch, forever.
- Blurry screenshots, cropped headers, mismatched fonts, or dates that don’t line up.
- The same COA reused across different products or years.
- Seller refuses to share a COA, or only shows it “in DMs.”
โ How to Verify a COA Yourself
- Match the product. Make sure the compound and amount on the COA match what you ordered.
- Look up the lab. Confirm it’s a real testing lab with a real website and contact info.
- Check with the lab. Many independent labs can confirm whether a report is genuine. If the lab offers report verification, use it.
- Read both tests. Make sure there’s a purity result and an identity result.
- Ask questions. A legit vendor answers them. If questions make a seller nervous, that’s your answer.
